Traveler Tim recently visited one of his favorite places in the world, a small village near Bamako, Mali.
Back in 2017, Tim helped open a middle school with a foundation called Mali Rising, which focuses on building schools in remote areas to spread education to the youth.
He has traveled back multiple times to visit the school (which was named in honor of him) and recently visited again to attend the wedding of his best friend's daughter.
The stories and pictures that Tim shared with us were INCREDIBLE..and they reminded us of our favorite things to do while traveling.
From making a positive impact wherever you go
to always learning something new
to participating in the country's pastimes (go Sebela Gazelles!)
to catching wild rides in whatever way you can
to making new friends along the way
to snacking on something new
to taking precious naps for much needed rest
to witnessing love in so many different languages
to finding the wackiest fabrics the world has to offer.
Thank you Tim for this awesome fabric find!
Here’s to all the precious moments that traveling brings & to feeling good—because after all, it’s Friday!
