The lunar calendar is used in Islam to determine each of the religious holidays. As the 9th month of the lunar calendar is approaching, people all over the world are prepping for the next crescent moon…the crescent moon that marks the beginning of Ramadan.

From dusk to Rama’dawn…

Evening feasts are prepared and shared amongst family, friends and neighbors…

And people from all corners of the globe come together to celebrate as one giant community.

Although the traditions may differ from country to country, the core of Ramadan remains the same…a month of spiritual reflection.
