Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Hawaii is full of colors. Especially the color green. 

From the wild grasses around the waterfalls,

to the vibrant leaves on top of mountains,

to the soft sand on a volcanic beach,

(we learned that Hawaii has one of the 4 green sand beaches in the world…how cool!),

Hawaii was teeming with greenery…

including our new green Hawaii tote that we got to break in on our trip.


With every color it showed us, the Aloha State had us at hello. And now we never want to say “See ya’ lei-ter.”

Here’s to enjoying every color that nature shows you & to feeling good - because after all, it’s Friday.

There are 4 types of Hmong people that live in this area. The Red Hmong, Black Hmong, Green Hmong and the Flower Hmong tribes. We visited a very remote region that is dominated by the Flower Hmong people and we explored the Bac Ha market which is rarely seen by outsiders.

A Rwanda'ring Hero

Kigali is a beautiful hilly city, quite green and very clean. People are super nice and eager to tell you about their history, including the genocide. Rwanda does not allow plastic bags, so, unlike other African countries, there is no plastic flying around or laying on the streets.
