Tamara Bailey: We discovered more of the natural beauty of the island by driving to see the blow holes and our adventure to find the perfect fabric to represent the culture of the island. One of the most awesome experiences we did was to go to the restaurant that the locals go to.  It was run by two native women of the Cayman Islands and it was the best food we had while travelling.  I've included the picture of Heritage Kitchen.  I feel like we experienced the true vibe of the island there.  Lots of beautiful flowers, a colorful sunset and very laid back, with chickens and roosters walking all over our feet while we ate.  While the experience in Georgetown is great, it doesn't give you the full glimpse of the culture of the Cayman Islands. My experience is that the people not working in hospitality are quite reserved and don't like the limelight.  Several patrons and an employee in the fabric shop asked that they not be included in photos- the workers at the hotel, begged me to take their picture.  I tried stand up paddle boarding and found that I love it and was quite good at it quickly, to my surprise.  The Cayman's have so many beautiful, vivid colors in their flowers and we noticed that the decor of restaurants and markets reflect the bright colors.  Loved seeing Iguanas in the wild as well.
