After two trips to the country and recent plans to move there, traveler Kirsty sets the Scene’gal for you…
“Senegal is my favourite place on earth. Not just because that's where I met some of my closest friends and my future husband! The people are so kind and full of hospitality. There is so much history there, and so many things to see and do. The [capital] city is huge but it doesn't feel rushed or impersonal, and the smaller cities, towns, and villages are so full of character and beauty. Then of course you have the countryside, all the crops of fruits, vegetables, and nuts. The combination of all these things just makes it such a wonderful place and somewhere that I truly wish everyone would have the chance to experience!”
In hopes of spreading this love for Senegal, this Sene’gal brought back fabric to share a piece of the country with you too.
Here’s to finding your Scene'egal in the new year and to feeling good—because after all, it's Friday!

PS. Plus another fabric from a traveler looking for a change of Scene'gal too...
Traveler Tim recently visited one of his favorite places in the world, a small village near Bamako, Mali.
Back in 2017, Tim helped open a middle school with a foundation called Mali Rising, which focuses on building schools in remote areas to spread education to the youth.
Traveler Matthew recently traveled to Taipei, Taiwan to visit his cousin.
The trip left him feeling bubbly since there were plen-tea of amazing things to do.
