The A’stone’ishing Islands of Malta

December 14, 2018

Feel Good Friday

As a traveler by heart and geologist by trade, Aaron traveled to an archipelago shaped entirely by limestone and tucked away in the Mediterranean Sea -- the islands of Malta.

From the surrounding reefs that have grown where limestone is plentiful…

to the layered limestone that makes up the sweeping coastline...

to the ancient temples const’rock’ted entirely of free-standing limestone...

Malta is filled with a’stone’ishing views in all directions.

With its islands lying at the crossing of Europe and Africa, Malta has a long history influenced by Malta’ple ancient European and African cultures.  With this criss-cross of cultural influence,  the Maltese cross has become a symbol for the country...

So Traveler Aaron brought a piece of this country a’cross one more ocean to share with you too.

Here’s to the a’stone’ishing islands of Malta and to feeling good—because after all, it's Friday!
